Duck Race

– Mass Participation Platform

DuckRace is a whole‑class participation platform designed for computing lessons where every student has access to a computer. It allows teachers to push questions, tasks, and activities to all students simultaneously — and instantly see who is engaging, who is stuck, and who needs support.

Students answer on their own screens, and the system collects every response in real time. The “duck race” animation simply turns the lesson into something visually fun and slightly competitive. Students can select their own rubber duck colour.

DuckRace is built for busy teachers who want high participation without high setup time:

  • Mass participation — every student responds to every question
  • Fast authoring — create a full set of questions in minutes
  • Flexible question types — multiple choice, written answers, fill‑in‑tables, code‑reading questions, and more
  • Real‑time visibility — see every student’s answer as it arrives
  • Designed for computing — ideal for code comprehension, logic questions, syntax spotting, and quick‑fire checks
  • Works in any subject where students have computers

DuckRace turns a standard computer‑room lesson into a structured, responsive, high‑engagement session.
